Growing Hemp Seed For Sale

Breeding Hemp Seed

Cannabis is an amazing plant. Adaptable, vigorous, and with over 7000 years of human intervention has an incredible amount of variation in its genome.

To create viable seed precise and controlled conditions must be set for cross-pollination. Hemp pollen is very small. Approximately 25 microns wide and can travel on any wind current for many miles. Seed for sale therefore should always be grown in a contained area far away from potential unwanted pollen. I highly recommend The Cannabis Breeders Bible : The Definitive Guide to Cannabis Genetics, Cannabis Botany and Creating Strains For The Seed Market

All feminized hemp seed produced on the Few True Seeds Farm is Organically grown using feminized pollen from a female donor forced hermaphrodite using the application of Sodium Thiosulphate Solution. The Donor is then discarded. Regular seeds are labeled F1, F2, F3... Depending on what generation the seeds are from. Selections are almost always made from F2 crosses and saved for backcrossing with F3 variants. When we are satisfied that the lineage is stable they will be labeled IBL (In Bred Line).

All sold seed from Few True Seeds will be accompanied by a Hemp Certificate Of Analysis (COA) that will give the grower a good idea of what the plant can produce outdoors.
